Lift and position road plates safely and securely with the Road Plate Lifting System. Robust and easy to use, the Road Plate Lifting System is the only one on the market that is ready to use from the box with an individual serial number on each unit (not just a batch number) eliminating the need to individually tag each unit.

The Road Plate Lifter system comprises a Weld-On Plate (SRPW050) and a Road Plate Lifter (SRPL050) (each sold separately).  Once the Weld-On Plate is flush welded at the centre of a steel trench plate, the Road Plate Lifter can be inserted into the weld-on plate and locked into position before a hook is attached to the middle of the lifting system. The flush welding reduces the risk of tripping and allows for plates to be conveniently stacked.

The female connector on the Weld-On Plate can be effortlessly welded onto road plates that are being manoeuvred. When installed correctly, the Weld-On Plate reduces trip hazards by sitting flush to the road plate and also allows for easy storage.  The Weld-On Plate is designed for quick and easy installation, taking approximately 20 minutes for a 25mm thick Grade A36, A50 or A992 steel road plate. We recommend load testing of the plates once welding is complete.

The Road Plate Lifter is not suitable for side pulling or pushing and should only be used straight up and down in a vertical line.
