Firth Concrete | Workstation Gantry Crane
The Requirement:
Firth has a 95-year proud history and is part of the history of New Zealand. They have been developing, manufacturing and delivering concrete and concrete products to New Zealanders for almost a century.
Their capability extends through the construction industry, roading & infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects to residential builds.
Stratalign was engaged by Firth Concrete to find a solution to help them manoeuvre product throughout a concrete laboratory.
The Challenge:
As the laboratory was operating under a canvas cover, the Workstation Gantry Crane needed to be self supporting and self bracing.
The Solution:
Stratalign supplied and installed a Workstation Gantry Crane System that had 2 x 750kg capacity bridges. Two x 750kg custom capacity Balken Generation 2 hoists were added to the bridges to help move the product as required by Firth Concrete.
